Efficiency Module
Log an entire spinning or weaving hall's shift output in under 20 minutes — barcode scanner only, no paper, no manual errors.
The full machine list is registered in the system by hall and production type. Each machine is assigned a unique code and serial number, printed as a barcode label and physically attached to that machine.
Modern machines typically have dashboards that generate shift-based performance reports. When this export file exists, it is automatically injected into the system — no manual entry required.
For machines without a dashboard, the operator scans the machine's barcode with a portable scanner. The system displays the operator assignment and machine settings; the operator enters just one number — the production quantity. The system then calculates that machine's efficiency from the pre-configured settings.
The unit of production depends on the machine: weaving machines log peak metres woven; spinning machines typically log kilograms of sliver or yarn produced. Machine settings such as speed, code and nominal capacity are pre-entered by the industrial engineering manager.
A separate coding system is defined for machine downtime. In addition to production quantities, operators can log each downtime event by code — data that feeds directly into the monthly downtime frequency report.
Logging a large spinning hall for a full shift takes less than 15–20 minutes with this system. The same task done manually on paper requires a dedicated full-time employee.
The system generates comprehensive reports: hall efficiency, per-operator efficiency, per-machine efficiency, monthly downtime list with frequency percentages, and nominal hall output by day, month and year.
A summary of performance and efficiency is displayed graphically in the management console — focused on key figures: total production output, overall efficiency rate, number of active machines and number of idle machines.
