Warehouse Module
Every warehouse operation — from pallet intake to sales dispatch — is done by barcode scan alone. Fast, error-free, no manual data entry.
Completed pallets from packaging are usually handed over to the warehouse in daily batches. The warehouseman simply scans each pallet barcode and it is instantly added to inventory — no manual code, quantity or any other input.
Products in inventory are organized into blocks by code and grade, and each product has a defined warehouse location. At intake, the system provides the warehouseman with a list of serials and their assigned locations for fast, precise stacking.
The sales unit creates a sales request based on live inventory. After the factory manager digitally approves and signs it, the request enters the warehouse queue. The factory guard gives final exit confirmation, at which point the sales dispatch is officially issued.
To dispatch goods, the warehouseman scans the sales dispatch barcode. The system cross-checks the code and quantity exactly against the sales request — if there is the slightest discrepancy, the document is not recorded and no mistake can pass through.
The system prints an exit document and hands it to the driver. If the factory has an exit weighbridge, the gross and tare weights of the transport vehicle are recorded at entry and exit, and the cargo weight is automatically verified against the document.
A separate section of the module handles semi-finished goods such as semi-processed yarn and raw fabric. This inventory is completely independent from the finished-goods warehouse and sales, and is used for transfers to the production floor.
All warehouse operations are carried out via portable barcode scanners — typically Android-based devices. The warehouseman has almost no need to touch a desktop computer; the entire workflow runs wirelessly on the shop floor.
All inventory movements, sales dispatches, and warehouse status are available as real-time reports for the finance and sales units. Live inventory data minimises the need for manual stock-counts.
